Crime numbers stay below 2024 level

The Santa Clarita Valley Sheriff’s Station reported the third-quarter crime numbers for 2025, indicating that property crimes are down just over 19%, but violent crimes are up 8.78%, based on Sheriff’s Department data.  Overall, the number of Part-I crimes remains down almost 14%, with the biggest drop specifically in larceny
